So many musculoskeletal problems are blamed on the horse. Not all horses have bouncy trot, it is often the rider who cannot move with their horse because they are blocked. Horse riders tend to develop their muscles symmetrically. A good horse rider will have good posture on the ground as well as in the saddle. Weight loss tends to be around the abdomen and the thighs because these muscle groups become strong and elongated, when riding a lot. Being large muscle groups they burn more energy and hence fat will burn for longer if these big muscle groups are worked for longer time periods.

No matter what method you choose, is best to get your horse used to the horse riding reins in a safe manner. If he becomes agitated, or anxious, don’t push him to do more exercises until he has calmed down. This will prevent him from bucking around, and potentially causing injury to you or others around the area.
